Bruno has been in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the past few days and from the looks of it – he has been there filming his new music video for what I believe will be “Marry You”. Thanks to JustJared, here are 8 pictures from the set featuring a gorgeous model.
Check out these pictures of Bruno spotted out doing some shopping while in Berlin, Germany. These pictures are from March 23rd. In total – 11 have been added to the gallery. X
I’m not too sure of the exact date these pictures were taken but I know they were in March and in Germany. Bruno, Phil Lawrence, Rita Ora and The Smeezington crew were all spotted having dinner and here is the full set of pictures from that night. Enjoy Hooligans!
Bruno Mars was photographed at an airport in Berlin, Germany a couple of days ago along with his team and friend (who I believe) is singer Rita Ora. Thanks to my wonderful friend Marta @ C-B.US for hooking us up with the pictures (which are in HQ).
Bruno attended the 2011 Echo Music Awards live in Germany tonight and I’ve added the first 7 pictures from the red carpet arrivals to the gallery. Stay tuned for more updates throughout the evening. Hope you Hooligans enjoy!
Check out these brand new pictures of Bruno performing live in Hamburg, Germany as part of the European Tour. I’ve added 9 HQ pictures from the live show as well as 6 exclusive pictures of Bruno & The Smeezingtons backstage before the show.
Bruno is featured in the April 2011 issue of GQ Magazine. With this great honor, comes a brand new photo shoot (4 new images) as well as a great new article written by the magazine. Be sure you check out the article & pictures below – and of course once the magazine is out – I will be uploading scans.
It’s one of the tritest battle cries a modern musician can utter: “I keep it real!” That’s pop whiz Bruno Mars—real name Peter Gene Hernandez—speaking, and boy, it gets worse. “The last few months,” he says, “it’s been a rocket…to Mars!” Zing! But before you write off his enthusiasm as rookie bluster, consider the 25-year-old Hawaiian’s life before 2011. Here’s a guy who impersonated Elvis professionally at age 3; a guy who fronted a lounge band called Sex Panther. He’s built his career on earnest cheeseballery, and he ain’t stopping it now.
In the past nine months—on the strength of the saccharine lyric You’re amazing just the way you are—Mars has scored triple-platinum sales, landed seven Grammy nominations, and for fun authored the hook from Cee Lo’s “Fuck You.” As he says, he’s just keepin’ it real. Though maybe a little too real. In September, Mars was busted for cocaine possession at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas. “I’m not gonna preach that I’m a role model,” he says. “I’m a fucking musician! But I’ve learned people are watching, so don’t do nothing stupid.” He’s just hoping to keep his nose clean (so to speak), acknowledging that there’s no backup plan. “My jump shot sucks,” he says.
Bruno appeared & performed on Germany’s Wetten Daas live on March 19th and here is the live interview and incredible performance of “Grenade” as well as 3 pictures from the show. Peep the greatness below!
According to blog The Rumor Fix, Bruno Mars will be performing on “American Idol”. I’m not sure if this is 100% true or not, so for now I have filed it under the “rumor” category.
It would def. be great to have Bruno perform on the show – especially seeing as how many times his songs have been performed on the current season.
We like Bruno Mars just the way he is — and apparently so does American Idol!
RumorFix has learned exclusively that the “Grenade” singer will be performing on the talent competition show.
Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe has said that Idol is getting calls from musicians who want to be part of the magic and he confirmed that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler’s Aerosmith will be performing on the FOX show this season.
And as RumorFix first reported, Lady Gaga is already booked for the season finale.
We can’t wait to see what other surprises Nigel and his team come up with next!
Great news for Bruno Mars! He will be working with the UK singing group Blue on some songs for their upcoming album. According to the group, Bruno penned a track called “Black And Blue”, which will be included on the album.
Bruno Mars has reportedly committed to work on the new album from U.K. pop quartet Blue. While speaking with digitalspy.com, group member Lee Ryan explained that they’ve penned a new song with the “Grenade” star titled “Black and Blue.”
“We’ve been writing with Ne-Yo, and I’ve written at least a couple of songs on my own that will probably make the album. We’ve also been working with Bruno Mars on a song called ‘Black And Blue’ – he’s sending his parts over from a demo we recorded a while ago. It’s got some haunting notes on the chorus,” he explained in the interview.
The group is also slotted to represent the U.K. in the upcoming 2011 Eurovision song contest. Group member Duncan James adds that, regardless of their success in the contest, they still plan to follow up with their comeback album.
“Should the worst happen, we’re still going to press ahead with the album. It won’t be the last of us – we’re all fully committed to this band again.”
