Bruno Mars attended the 2011 BET Music Awards live from Los Angeles, California last night where he walked the red carpet & also performed a surprise duet with songstress Alicia Keys and rapper Rick Ross. It was just announced that Bruno will be performing at The Great New York State Fair on Wednesday, August 31 at 8 p.m. Make sure to go see Bruno if you are around the area!

The New York State Fair announced four more free acts that will perform during this year’s Chevy Court concert series including pop, rock and country artists. Two different acts will perform each day at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. All shows at Chevy Court are free with Fair admission.

The lineup includes award-winning singer, songwriter and record producer Bruno Mars, superstar chef Curtis Stone, rock band Three Dog Night and country-singing sensations Steel Magnolia.

“This year’s Chevy Court concert series is turning out to be one of the best ever,” said Dan O’Hara, New York State Fair director. “From rock to country and pop music to cooking, we are going to have something for everyone – all free with admission to the Fair.”

Bruno Mars, a Grammy award-winning artist, will perform Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. Mars is noted for incorporating a wide variety of styles and influences that contain elements of many different musical genres into the songs he writes, produces and performs. His debut studio album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. Among the hit singles off that album are “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” and “The Lazy Song.”

Bruno performed live on NBC’s ‘The Today Show’ today & brought out the biggest crowd of their concert series so far this year! He gave an incredible performance of a few hits from “Doo-Wops & Hooligans”. He performed “Runaway Baby”, “The Lazy Song” and a fresh version of “Just The Way You Are”. Bruno Mars has been added to the line-up to appear at the BET Music Awards which will go down live on Sunday, June 26th! Be sure to tune in to see if Bruno takes home any of the awards that he is nominated for including “Best Male Artist”.

Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Nicki Minaj have been added to the star-studded list of people who will appearing at this year’s “BET AWARDS”.

The show, which will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, had already announced an exceptional list which includes Lil Wayne, Drake, and Beyonce.

Nick Cannon will join 106 & PARK hosts Terrence and Rocsi for the “Live Red and Ready,” red carpet pre-show and pre-show performances which will include Miguel, Swizz Beatz & Eve, and Lloyd.

For the first time in BET AWARDS history, the Social Media Lounge will be integrated into the Live broadcast and will include updates on twitter and facebook as well as celebrity interviews.

The BET Awards will be broadcast from inside LA’s Shrine Auditorium at 8 p.m on Sunday, June 26th.
