Fans of Bruno Mars can now play ‘Bruno Mars Revenge’ all over town thanks to the game app now available on iTunes.

As you can imagine, this is simply a Mars-themed version of the popular ‘Tap Tap Revenge’ game, with discs sliding down three lines as songs like ‘Count on Me’ and ‘Liquor Store Blues’ play in the background. The goal is to tap on the pad at the bottom of each line just as the discs pass by.

Even on the ‘easy’ setting, the somewhat frantic pace of the game seems at odds with Bruno’s smooth music, but the skins certainly look nice. You can rack up further points by shaking your iPhone or iPad and riding along “trails” on the line, but this reviewer, who hasn’t played a videogame since ‘Zaxxon,’ was unable to accomplish this feat even once.

The ‘Bruno Mars Revenge’ app also features standard artist-based features such as a lyrics database, photos and links to his Facebook and Twitter pages. We’re guessing Mars himself is too busy doing things — such as performing his current hit ‘Lazy’ on ‘American Idol‘ — to spend much time on this game, but it should provide plenty of fun for his fans.
